Why we keep Expressions' looks...

Why do we prefer to shop in some stores rather than others? It may be hard to pinpoint, but it comes down to how we feel when we walk in, as much as the merchandise on sale..The ambiance, ease of access, the way in which items are displayed, and how easy it is to locate what you are looking for among the often large range of stocks - all contribute to the "retail experience". Thus store design have become as much a science as an art.

A good shop fitter understands that a sale may well depend as much upon the feeling the customer gets from being in a shop - how it addresses the person they want to be – as the items on sale. It doesn't happen by accident; store design must be done deliberately and with great care.

The four key elements of effective store and design are

1.) external signage
2.) store layout
3.) internal category management and
4.) internal ambiance

There is a lot of sales power in a well designed retail store. Not only can it boost sales at any given site, but for a chain like Expressions, the way we are fitted gives instant customer recognition and allows shoppers easy access no matter which store they visit.

If you regularly do your weekly shopping at one supermarket, you will find it easier and more pleasant to visit the same chain if you are in a different location, than if you have to find your way around a completely different layout. In this way shop deign can contribute to customer loyalty.

New Year Sale is Coming!!!

Wassup guys? Christmas just got around so fast, didn't it? Now we just raised back our christmas decor items and guess what? It's New Year!!

Funny thing is, we still received Christmas merchandise last December 24. Hmmmm. how do we sell that?

Maybe it's for nostalgic buyers who want to reminisce their recently concluded christmases, or maybe I'm just reasoning out a very unreasonable fact: that as far as delivery goes, "Houston, we have a problem!"

Barcode printer misadventure!

Did you know that Central Warehouse is still looking for the Citizen barcode printer that we sent through EDG? We have sent it early this month with ADTS E485-08-0085.

Earlier today, Miss Jacol called up and asked if we sent to warehouse coz hindi nila mahanap or something. You know what? She said it's "imposible" na nagpadala kami!

Hay....what can I say? Merry Christmas na lang po.

Expressions a shoe store?

Hey guys, I saw this pic on the net and found it interesting. It seems that the logo on this one is a bit too similar with our old one. Complain natin sa DTI? wag na, coz it's at 12 Main Avenue North, Roseau Minnesota, USA. Come to think of it, okay nga eh. International na tayo! Hehehe.

HRD asks for ADUCAF of our Xmas Party Budget

Hey guys, have you sent your christmas party request and its requirements? It's a waste if you haven't. We all have budgets for it. See the earlier Sap Email from Ma'am Nitz Gomez and the subsequent one from Miss Marilyn Martin...
